We measure what matters most.
Battery health is an important factor in a refurbished device's value. When a seller provides it, TRUEVOLT shows it on the listing so you can evaluate before you contact the store.
Battery health is disclosed as a percentage when the seller provides it — not invented, and not required on every listing.
Battery health scale
Real-time diagnostic measurement
Devices without disclosed battery health should be evaluated with extra care. Battery information is shown when the seller provides it.
Warranty, when disclosed.
Warranty terms are disclosed on the listing when the seller provides them. TRUEVOLT does not attach a warranty to every device automatically.
Not all warranties are equal — here's what to look for.
In the refurbished market, two types of warranties exist. Knowing the difference helps you make smarter, safer purchase decisions.
OEM Warranty
Manufacturer-backedThe original manufacturer's warranty that comes with the first-time purchase of the device. In the second-hand and refurbished market, some devices still carry an active OEM warranty — meaning the manufacturer is directly responsible for repairs and replacements.
When a device still has OEM warranty remaining, the manufacturer backs it — giving you the strongest protection available.
Shop Warranty
Seller-backedWhen a device no longer has an active OEM warranty, a reputable shop owner may offer their own warranty as a trust signal — assuring you that the device is genuine and in working condition. Typically lasts 1 month, though duration varies by seller.
Among devices with shop warranty, always prefer the seller offering the longest duration — it reflects greater confidence in the device's quality.
Buyer's Purchase Priority Guide
First choice: Devices with active OEM warranty — the manufacturer stands behind the product.
Second choice: Devices with shop warranty — among these, always prefer the seller offering the longest warranty period as it signals greater trust in the device's condition.

What is TrueVolt Pro Diagnostic?
TrueVolt Pro Diagnostic is an optional 32-point device diagnostic. When a report is attached to a listing, buyers can review that summary. It is not required to publish a listing, and not every listing includes a report.
Are warranty terms the same for every listing?
No. Warranty is disclosed on the listing when the seller provides it. Some devices may still have OEM warranty; others may include a shop warranty. TRUEVOLT does not attach a warranty to every device automatically.
How should I use trust signals on a listing?
Review seller verification, cosmetic grade, functional status, battery health, warranty information, and any attached diagnostic report before contacting the seller. TRUEVOLT surfaces trust information ahead of contact actions by design.
