1. Information we collect
We collect information you provide and information created when you use TRUEVOLT. Customers typically provide a name and mobile number. Email is optional on the customer profile. When you use nearby or city features, we use location information to show relevant stores and listings. We also store wishlist items, in-app notifications, and a record when you choose to call or WhatsApp a seller.
Sellers provide business and GST details, branch and shop information, listing content and images, and subscription and billing account information. A listing may include an optional TrueVolt Pro Diagnostic report. Sellers may submit an Enterprise capacity enquiry; we store the requested listings and branches and notify our team with the seller name and mobile number.
The marketing website may store a first-party consent record in localStorage under the key truevolt_consent_v1. See our Cookie policy.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to provide and improve our services, connect you with verified stores, send relevant notifications, operate seller verification and subscriptions, review Enterprise enquiries, and help keep the platform safe.
3. Information sharing
We do not sell your personal information. When you contact a seller by phone or WhatsApp, that communication happens with the seller. We share information with service providers who help us operate the platform.
4. Data security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We regularly audit our security practices.
5. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. Customer accounts can be deleted in the TRUEVOLT Customer app (Profile → Edit Profile → Delete Account). Seller account deletion is requested by emailing sellers@truevolt.in or support@truevolt.in. Full steps are at truevolt.in/delete-account. Contact us at privacy@truevolt.in to exercise these rights.
